Goodness! Thanks for the info about the Chiggle! I know I had one that was blue-ish, the eyes lit up, and 'strobed' with a yellow-orange colour... it made a 'screaming' noise too when it did this... kind of difficult to describe. 'OOOOooooooOOOOOoooo ohhhhhhhh!' ^_^ My father's favourite thing to do was stash it in a dark hallway, so when I ran down the dark hallway in terror of shadow-monsters it would light up and make noises at me. Only God knows how often I must have wet myself running away from the dear thing... I LOVED that doll, even more than the Talking-ALF doll. ^_^

Basements that are not technicolor creations remind me too much of Blair Witch, so paint quickly became a necessity, haha.
