I started editing early year '04. I still don't know about YouTube that time, so, I just got interested with Editing Videos out of watching lots of Music Videos from some of my favorite Artists/Bands before. Back then, I enjoy watching them and I also download them off for collection. Until one day, I said to myself I wanna make Music Videos someday ^^' And that's how my interest to Editing started ^^. One day, my brother opened a program from our pc, and that program was WMM [Windows Movie Maker]. He was editing the Final Fantasy VIII Video Clips that I bought long ago and he showed me what he's doing using WMM, [he's trying to show off that time xD] but lol he didn't know how to put Music on and Mute the clip's original sound. [lol It sounds so TERRIBLE!] "Well, I just can't cancel the sounds, just ignore it!" he said. LOL "Huh, Yeah! Great?!" *sarcastic laugh* "Okay, lemme try that out!" I said. Since I love FFVIII and Music Videos a lot, I got interested with what my brother did. So, I started browsing a song. And then, that's how my editing with WMM begun! lolz After I've made my very first FFVIII Music Video w/c they call here, GMV [Gaming Music Video] my brother did not edit any videos after seeing me, finished a music video. My brother is an insecure one and that's what I hate most =S Anyways, back to the topic, that was the first time ever that I felt the pleasure of editing videos, gawd IT'S GREAT! *_* lol [Aww.. first is always the best! Unfortunately, I've lost the first video i've ever edited 'coz the HDD crashed T_T] But it did not stop there, I have edited lots of FFVIII then other FFs as well. =3 Until, i've found YouTube. I made an account immediately then start uploading few of my GMVs. It was boring start 'coz nobody watches your videos lol [I got lil ratings and comments] hehe but I don't really mind it, 'coz I enjoy my videos myself. I take my videos as my precious treasures *.* Each one of 'em ^^ As a YT user, of course I don't only enjoy my own videos I also watch others' videos, rate, comment and fav them hehe and up until now we never stop doing those things xD, it's like a daily routine already... to visit YouTube and watch videos, right? And you also get to discover new things and amazing editors. And that's how I discovered AMVs [Anime Music Videos] out of discovering YT. I found ChappiRukia's AMV and left me.. 'O.O' lol I'm already a fan of Naruto but not that much, and that one single AMV from her made me adore the series more and inspired me to make AMVs. That's why she has been my biggest inspiration until then. But I did not try to imitate her style 'coz I believe editors/ AMV makers should be artistic, too, they have to find their own style and originality. So, my style is... well, "Simple and Meaningful" 'coz I believe... "Simplicity is Beauty" at least for my videos XD [aww...lol...Although, I think they are not that very appealing to some viewers T_T]. But then, I try to be more flexible, sometimes I do FXs for a change, but it always depends with the song I use. I don't just to them to catch attention. Meaning and Simplicity are still what matters to me and my AMVs. Honestly, I don't really care doing FXs much 'coz there are lots of talented AMV makers out here that I get to enjoy their AMVs with lovely FXs. So, I thought, "What's the need of doing them when I get to enjoy them with others' work already?". lolz And actually, doing my FXs is just pain in the neck, with my crappy old pc gaah! So annoying! x_x So, that's how, *clears throat* yours truly started editing AMVs during the year 2006 up until now :D You, what's your history? ^^'
