I ended up letting go of the xiphos. The pickups were nice, they got the job done. But after playing jackson guitars, even with stock pickups they sounded so much better in comparison to the xiphos.

I'm guessing it also had to do with the quality of the guitar. The xiphos plays so smoothly (one of the fastest necks I've played) and had a decent sound, but the jackson just had more balls. I hope ibanez comes out with a higher end xiphos soon :)

Oh, I wish i had a friend like that, you know, who grew up with me. But whatever. I love all my high school friends.
