In answer to your question... As my user name CompaqVet implies, I am indeed a veteran of Compaq. I will also add that I was there back in the relatively early days when Compaq was more than just a brand, it was the American Dream in action, Texas style!

Am I a fanboy? Hardly... I was lucky enough to have been part of the early Compaq whirlwind and, for a while, we were all having the time of our lives!

But, enough about me. Any other Cpq Vets have some faded memories to share?
