I now know that I truly am a girl
"spoken for". Spoken for by Christ.
He and He alone, takes my brokeness
and makes me whole again.
He forgives me and helps me to make
a new start.
He is patient even when it takes me a while to get it right.
He shines a light into the darkness
of my confusion and leads me back to
the correct path.
He restores my strength when I feel
that I can't or do not want to go on.
He rescues me and pulls me out of the
pit.
He protects me even if it means from myself
and keeps me safe.
He corrects me when I am wrong but only as a
parent would correct the child he loves.
He restores my peace and heals my heart
when it is broken.
He hears my prayers in the night and loves me
even during the times I am most unlovable and
undeserving.
He is my comfort in times of loneliness or
trouble.
He loves to bless me...
everything is a gift!
The cup of coffee in my hand each morning
The gas in my car to get to work
An act of kindness from a stranger...
Everyday there is so much to be thankful for
and Lord, I am so thankful.
You are my friend when there are no friends
You send help when there is no help
I may not have everything I want,
but I always have everything I need.
Thank you...from the bottom of my heart.
