o srry...u click on 'edit channel' and then on the left hand side it says 'channel design' click on that and scroll down past layout and playlist..down below it says "advanced design customization" in bold letters. and under that topic it says 'background image (URL)" and u paste it there..hope it helpss

i have no idea what that face is???? anyways u need to find a picture on google r sumthin and click untill u see the full size image and it has to be on a page by itself or else ull just get a blank bg...then u have to copy the url and paste it after u click edit channel and near the bottom!!! hope this helps!
