Certains Khmers pour des raisons politiques ou fierté nationaliste excessive, par la haine raciale, tentent encore de faire porter leurs erreurs sur le dos des autres. Certains vont même à dire que les Vietnamiens ont comploté le génocide. Ils vont même à voir chez les barbares khmers rouges de vrais nationalistes.

Les extrémistes Khmers républicains, les extrémistes Khmers rouges et Khmers sérei n'ont jamais hésité de tuer même leurs concitoyens, pour des raisons idéologiques ou celles à caractère racial. Ceux-ci, malgré le temps est révolu, demeurent des esprits tordus et malades.

Ayons le courage de regarder la vérité en face pour mieux bâtir notre avenir. Il faut de tout pour faire un monde. Le racisme ne tue pas seulement vos ennemis; mais il vous tue aussi.
