Ludwig van Beethoven
Concerto pour violon op.61 Leonid Kogan - direction:Louis de Fromen (altro)
Violinist Leonid Kogan plays Paganini´s Cantabile. He´s definitely one of my favorites.

Thank you so much for posting the Kogan/Shostakovich video. One of the most beautiful concertos I have ever heard, superb interpreted by Kogan.

Hej Fry. I had the opportunity to listen to Sitkovestky´s unbelivable interpretation of Bach BWV 1004, I have never listed to an interpreation that unique and pensive. So personal and reflective, so introspektive, on an emotional level that according to my humble opinion, even surpasses Milstein. And Milstein is the best interpretator of Bach´s sonatas and partitas. But this recording simply blew me right out of the water. It´s possibly the most moving performance I´ve ever heard.

Hej Fry. Thanks for these remarkable postings. I can´t believe what I´m hearing. Its outstanding. Words Fail me. I´m speechleses. I still haven´t had the opportunity to listen to Sitkovesky, Goldberg, Grumeaux, Tascher, Martzy and Kogan - but I will a.s.a.p
I´ve listened to the Oistrakh postings - Oistrakh is my favorite because of his amaaaaazing tone ( and ofcourse his brilliant technique ). I have allmost all his recordings. He absolutely remains my favorite. He has the most beautiful soul - beauty of the highest quality - a soul of integrity. Thanks again. I´ll get back to you. Camilla |

I especially love BMV. 1001, that is how I found your tube, but Op. 17 is lovely and I just heard Op. 12 and it too is delightful. Thank you for sharing these classics! So nice to float in the higher spheres.
