I am currently teaching cinematography, editing, and production design at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center.

My wife and I are happily married and live in Pasadena, CA with a German Shepherd/Siberian Husky puppy named Maddie and a Labrador Retriever/Siberian Husky puppy named Sammy. We attend Eagle Rock Baptist Church and are actively involved in several groups there.

I've been doing After Effects animation for about five years, and really enjoy it. I have yet to delve FULL FORCE into the world of 3D animation (maybe some day), but right now, After Effects is affording me the animation, creative outlet I need.

I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching at the LAFSC this past year, and when the occasional animation freelance gig comes up, I take it... However, I am currently working hard to move out of the world of post production and return back to my first love -- SCREENWRITING and DIRECTING.

I recently completed 7 out of 11 days on a feature film shoot that I wrote and am directing. Our last four days will be shot in September. For the first time in years, I am energized and passionate about my love for filmmaking! It's good to be home!

Oh yeah, and if you're interested in me (apart from filmmaking), here are a few tidbits: I'm pretty serious about nutrition and working out (It's a secret [well, not so secret anymore I guess] goal/dream of mine to one day compete in an amateur body building competition, though I'm still YEARS away from having the physique for that). If I could trade all of my talents to be able to sing like Pavarotti, I'd do it without a second thought. It's a dream of mine to someday camp out in a cabin in the woods for a couple of months and write a novel. I think I could live in the great outdoors. And as much as I love filmmaking, I've thought about giving it all up to become a full-time missionary. And Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year -- during the holiday season, I turn into a little kid (not the snotty nosed, bratty kids who scream for gobs of presents, but the Norman Rockwell kind of kid that could spend hours just staring at the lights on the Christmas tree).
