All of my pieces combined into one video. Don't know if thats what we were supposed to do, but thats all I had time for.
Just so you know, the preexisting templates and such I mentioned were loaded into the programs I used, Correl Draw and Correl Photopaint, downgraded versions of photoshop, for beginners.

In my fit of emo last year I wrote this poem, but it actually was the first I had both rhythm and rhyme in so I wanted you all to see it. Forgive me.
I have this power deep inside
And I know it can cause tears
It can be a bright glow of hope
Or a raging torrent of fears
A weapon I hold, only mine
My burden to wield, I must fight
Everything I thought that I knew
I believe that I lost my light
The demons that I slay within
All that was white has become black
The shadows have grown darker
And I know there's no turning back
My demons could hurt those I love
And so now these beasts I must smite
The darkness has enveloped me
And I can't find the shining light
Being a shadow of myself
You see me as a nobody
But I still stand for all that's good
Yet I do it all secretly
I know not if I can control
The great powere I hold inside
Walking upon the line of death
Caught between two opposing sides
Looking upon my reflection
I can't quite seem to recognize
It's scary this power within
I face this foe forgetting size
I must push all of them away
Going along my lonely dance
I can't risk my loved one's saftey
Not for just a ghost of a chance

Just a little poem I wrote. You'll get it more when I post the next one. My reading is really crappy because I had to constantly look at the sheet because I wasn't in from to my computer. I wanted to get more of a restaurant feel to it and not have it look like my room. And yes, that is supposed to be a waitress outfit.
Stranger, why do you look so sad?
Your red coat whipping in the wind
Bright green eyes filled with a sorrow
You look like you just might give in.
Why do you travel all alone
When kindness you've shown in your heart?
The children, they seem to like you
Why try to keep yourself apart?
The blond spikes so tall seem to sag
A heavy burden rests on you.
Your cheerful smile is missing
You are not the man I once knew.
You come here not very often
Maybe once or twice in a year
You had naught but smiles for us,
But now your face shows only fear.
Have you done something you regret
Since the last time you have arrived?
Your spirit seems to be broken
Though you've physically survived
Has someone left you who is dear?
Or have you left someone behind?

Since my last video was so long, I decided a short and sweet video was in order. =D

For my Computer Animation class, we had to make a rocket and have it orbit around a planet. Being the Final Fantasy nerd that I am, I called the rocket Highwind and the Saturn looking planet, The Planet. And in homage to Star Trek 7, I used the same soundtrack that the first warp drive ship used.
I do not own Star Trek, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Magic Carpet Ride, or the photos used in this film. All of the rights go to thier respective owners (see credits for more information).

This here is my first attempt with my webcam and windows movie maker so bear with me while I get used to this. It took about 25 minutes to film and hours to edit. As you can tell I ramble and flub my words a lot...
the first segment was done in the morning when there was more light but I went to work so there was less light available to work with after fact 2. I had to add some more unnatural light which is why it looks different.
Fact 1: My webcam was given to me by my boyfriend (0:21)
Fact 2: I have a cat (0:57)
Fact 3: I play cello (1:31)
Fact 4: I wear glasses (4:40)
Fact 5: I work at Rite Aid (5:22)
The Cello took more than 3 tries, and I do usually look like that when I play, though I was trying to smile more...
