well stoofy ill give you my answer, if they charge the same ammount of money as it cost to buy the materials, its pretty much just getting the same ammount of money back and havent really earnt anything, so they charge a bit more than what they spent to earn money, try searching somebody who can make it for 150 dollars i guess that could help

I have a question, why is it so impossible to find a box with the right dimensions? I need a box for 2 15's thats 3.4cu.ft. for each speaker so about 7cu ft for the whole box with a divider, no 1 has 1 and everyone thats makes them is charging over 300 dollars to make it or me. i know all the dimensions but why is it so expensive when it will only cost about 50 dollars worth of materials? 25 in wood 5 in silicon 5 in screws 10 in carpet and 5 for 2 speaker terminals. thats 50 bux why is everyone charging an arm and a leg it takes like an hour to build, im going to have to take some time off from work to do it this weekend because this is ridiculous. what was your solution to your box, did u make it yourself or have it made?
