There are some atheists, though, that I do respect, like Christopher Hitchens, for doing things like battling revisionist history, or certain aspects of history that historians try to erase from our nation's textbooks. If you want to see a great debater, though, follow Catholic Conservative author Dinesh D'Souza on Youtube...he takes on guys like Hitchens and Daniel Dennett. You should definitely take a look at his book, "What's So Great about Christianity?" He really hammers away at conspiracies of Christian history like the Crusades, Witch trials, and the Inquisition in a scientific way, which refutes the Atheist/Anti-Religious attacks on them. I respect him a lot.

And btw, I really admire your intelligence and respect for the Catholic faith. I'm tired of these Youtube atheists, too, but especially atheists in general. No...I actually hate agnostics more cuz they DENY that God could be even KNOWN. At least atheists are willing to discuss the idea, however disagreeable they may be.

Watched your video titled, "The Heat," and I just have to say your dogs are sooo majestic and pretty, especially the "mountain dog." Haha...And you know, people DO speak to their dogs in high-pitched tones or quietly because we think (No...We KNOW!!) that dogs get are excitable and can get scared or even sad if we raise our voices too them. I have a loud voice, so even when I'm just congratulating my dog for doing a trick, my yellow lab looks at me as if to say, "What did I do?" Hehe..I just toss a treat at her and she gets the idea. :-)

It's cool that you believe that logical necessity dictates fact.
Here's a cool little example of what your thought process can be used to support: 1. Condoms are logically necessary to prevent pregnancy. 2. Therefore, condoms are always used to prevent pregnancy. 3. Therefore, pregnancy of any kind is impossible. |
