the bigger one (the one you saw first) is about 3.5 inches give or take. he never sits still long enuff for me to actually measure lol. the smaller one is 3 inches exactly. as for their age im not sure. i got them when they were babies in february after my first turtle died :-(. so i just say they're 4 months. and thank you for the filter info, ill definetly look for it :-D i dont think this little fluval can keep up with the amout of water in there anymore
