About me: Ok, I am an electrician, for starters. But that's just my latest identity. I used to work in an office where I wore many hats. Working in the corporate world was too corrupt for me so I quit. That was when my life fell apart, and I had to rebuild myself as SOMETHING, so I became an apprentice, at age 35. Five years later I got my Electrician's licence and have worked on and off at various locations in Toronto.

Hobby e interessi: I'm into philosophy, cosmology, physical science. Lately I've been plucking on my guitar quite a bit for self amusement. I've been known to write, paint, carve, cook. collect coins, and other quite nerdy things.
Film e programmi TV: Currently my favourite movie is The Bird Man of Alcatraz. But of course: Casablanca, To Have and Have Not, Treasure of the Sierra Madre , basically almost all of Bogart's movies. Silent Running, MASH, Citzen Kane (of course.) Newer movies, Devils Rejects, The World's Fastest Indian (loved that one), March of the Penguins, Half Baked (laugh so hard!), An Inconvenient Truth, Hard Candy, Crank (awesome), Blades of Glory (hilarious), Invincible, The Prestige, Loose Change, Fahrenheit 911, so many movies.
Musica: So many types, so many. Lately though been doing unknown original stuff off Youtube, but Hank Williams, has been on the menu, oh and Harry Nilsson, been rediscovering him big; so put The Point! on the movie list too. My bedroom radio is set to Classical 96.3 FM, been getting into that a lot lately. Other artists on my list, Alice Cooper, Benny Goodman, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Frank Sinatra, George Gershwin, Grateful Dead, John Lennon, Joni Mitchell, Judas Priest, Led Zepplin, Leonard Cohen, Harry Chapin, Louis Armstrong, Mike Oldfield, Mott the Hoople, Patsy Cline, Pink Floyd, Queen, Reba (I know wtf?),Rush, Neil Young, Supertramp, The Doors, Laura Nyro and more of course.
Libri: 1984, Catch 22, Brave New World, Poe's Tales of Mystery and Imagination, The Little Prince ... So many authors, Roger Penrose, Stephen Hawking, Lewis Mumford, Jean Baudrillard, Saul, and many, many more. Big on my dictionary, and encyclopaedia, always looking at that. Really got into Charles Dickens for a while, Great Expectations, David Copperfield, Nicholas Nickleby, Tale of Two Cities, Bleak House. Are you still reading this? lol

Good video. I think you should renew, and use all the Government approved pot that you can. I dislike the double standard between the sick and well also, but since pot does help, you should take advantage of the situation. It's sickening that a plant is deemed criminal to posses, it's the political kowtowing to the nutty American policy that has created this problem.

The Great Pumpkin(show me how to carve a pumpkin) (1 giorno fa)
That should be fine. You could also take a coping saw blade cut one end off with a pair of side cutters leaving a point, then wrap duct around the blade for a handle. This would let you make finer detail and tighter radius cuts. My sister almost cut her finger off using a paring knife and to this day can't bend that finger at the first joint, so avoid using a knife at all costs. Cheers :)

Use a keyhole saw instead of a knife. Safer. They make pumpkin carving kits nowadays. Cut the top using a 45degree angle so you can put in back on without it falling off. Make the hole on top big enough to get your hand in. Rip out the guts with your hand, then use a table spoon to scrape the sides. Draw a few faces on paper first, then draw one on the pumpkin. Make the features big enough that you can cut them out easily. You might want to cut a hole in the back to stick in a flashlight. ^_^

THANX!!! VGM has been 1 of my favorites for about a decade. Thanx to my sister who was a teen thru those years, I grew up appreciating "Gliiter & Glam", so it was sorta like reliving my childhood! LOL! Thanx 4 the subscription! I'll try to get more movies if I can find them! Some good channels to subscribe to is called Hollywood Classics (HC). It's on the 3rd page of my subscriptions. There's about 5 (or more) channels of them. They all contain old movies & TV shows from the 20's-70's. {{{{^_^}}}}

I rated g0at's "I DO NOT Support the Troops" vid only one star, but *not* because of his opinion, as (1) everyone has the right and freedom to express one's opinion, and (2) he and I have discussed this in more depth via Stickam, and we both feel very strongly against this war. (My "common law" husband may be going out there as a Medic next week, but that doesn't change how I feel about the situation itself.)

The reason I rated it low was because g0at obviously did NOT research before claiming his "facts". He's an intelligent young man, and I really expected him to research before putting the claims out that he did. Had he first researched his claims, I'd have rated it five stars.... even though I don't agree with much of his opinion; although I do agree with some of it.

ANYHOOO, there's my page comment for the day.... my work is done! LOL
