Although I've mixed alot of classic hip hop records on ssl consoles, there nothing but a million dollar white noise machine and the 9000 j winged pictured in the background had no head room to play with in the eq. a tweeking nightmare.I much prefer Neve, and focusright consoles.

Actually not the old old broadway studio but the 54th st facility. They have since relocated to miami.

Its the old Hit factory, I worked with Crazy bone and Fat joe in this room way back when. Also one of the last times I saw big pun and Mariah.
The room was very asthetically pleasing but boxter monitors suck and it was not a very true environment. This studio is closed now. like so many others of its kind. Gone the way of the dinosaurs with the invention of napster and limewire. Sad but true
