Killing Joke
• Jaz Coleman • Kevin "Geordie" Walker • Martin "Youth" Glover • Paul Ferguson Paul Raven • Martin Atkins • Dave Kovacevic • Nick Holywell-Walker • Ben Calvert • Reza Udhin Killing Joke formed in 1979 in London, England. They are one of the most influential, intersting and greatest bands of all time. Their early Punk Rock music gradually evolved over the years, incorporating elements of Post-Punk, New Wave, Dub, Dance Music, Industrial Rock, Industrial Metal, Alternative Rock, World Music, Gothic Rock though always emphasizing Jaz's "savagely strident vocals". Killing Joke have influenced many later bands, such as Prong, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Primus, Jane's Addiction, Metallica, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Faith No More, Napalm Death, Korn, Foo Fighters, Big Black, Amebix,... all of whom have at some point cited some debt of gratitude to 'The Joke'.
