My new goal for myself is to do my job as well as these guys write (and play) music. That's setting the bar pretty high, yes, but why not at least try?

I'm quite late to this party, as the only album of theirs I'd heard until a couple months ago was Kid A, and it wasn't my cup of tea, so at the time I filed them under "bands I don't like." Now, I know better. In fact, they're my favorite band (edging out Yo La Tengo, who'd held that spot for more than a decade). Went to see them play in August. Best concert ever, and I've been to my share. The light show alone was worth the admission fee, and I'm not the light show type.
