Sailor Moon is and always will be one of my favorite anime classics. But two of the episodes from season one didn't focus on the scouts or their problems, but on the problems of two other people: Negaversal general Nephlite and junior high student Osaka Naru (a.k.a. Molly in the English dubbed version)
Naru has had a case of wicked love ever since she laid eyes on Nephlite's alter ego Masato Sajoin, a wealthy laid back businessman, unaware of who he really is or what his true intentions are. When those intentions do come to light, she cares for him even more...even to a point where she is willing to die for him! (Talk about devotion!)
This piece of human contact awakens emotions in Nephlite that he never knew existed and even though he still has a mission to terminate the Sailor Soldiers, he doesn't want Naru gettin in harms' way when that time comes. But his growing emotions for her, as well as hers for him spark a special relationship between the two.
The love story between these two is beautiful, but tragic at the same time. Never has there been a more emotional moment on this show than the love story surrounding Naru and Nephlite.

You know, when you look at a woman named Sister Cindy, you can't really suspect her of any wrong doing. Sure, she looks like any normal woman you'd pass walking down the streets of Hong Kong: she's nice, sincere, honest and classy. That's because for a woman in her profession, it's the perfect disguise!
After Kitty Yau takes revenge on the scum who killed her old man, she needs to make a quick getaway but armed security is blocking her path so she decides to take a patron hostage. And that patron turns out to be Cindy! So when Kitty aims her gun at Cindy, Cindy pleads for her life to be spared. Kitty promises she won't pull the trigger, but Cindy has to agree to help her escape.
Cindy is all to willing to help the brash young girl and it isn't before long, Kitty gets a glimpse at who Cindy is and what she does for a living. When the smoke clears, Kitty's first impression is, 'who is this woman? And what have I gotten myself in to?'
*Warning- this scene contains extreme violence. Turn away now if you are easily offended...if not, enjoy the show!

Moon Lee: the undisputed, unbreakable China Doll who knows how to dish out a beating, is one of the many pioneers responsible for the birth of the H.K. girls with guns genre. It's hard to believe that someone so small and adorable can pack a punch capable of knocking out a horse! The lovely Moon Lee has played many types of roles, though she's usually cast as a Hong Kong cop and partnered up with Cynthia Khan or Yukari Oshima, but on her own, she's like a tornado of pure fighting fury. So don't let Moon's innocent looks fool you: underneath she's as tough and merciless as they come!

Man, I'll tell you right now: some people in the cinema world still haven't learned that it's stupid to get Donnie Yen angry...like in his last film 'Kill Zone' and his current work 'Flashpoint' which is what this video is dedicated to.
Overtime, Donnie has proven time and time again that he's a guy who's not to be screwed with. In the 90s, Donnie had a flashy routine of fighting but as time rolled around, he decided to add something to that routine and combined it with Judo, Jujitsu and some of that old-fahsioned U.F.C.-style no-holds barred kind of fighting. In Flashpoint, Donnie shows that if you adapt more into your style and use more than one technique that works, you can have an excellent and brutal, choreographed fight scene.
I decided to put a hip-hop track from one of my favorite movies with this montage to show the rough and vicious side of Donnie Yen's greatest masterpiece. Enjoy!

Commissioner Yao (Carter Wong), a top law officer and Princess Wang Ying (the lovely Doris Lung) are two warriors who are fighting over the fate of China after the Ching Dynasty falls to pieces. While Yao and his people want a new government to exercise their rights as individuals, Wan Ying wants the the Ching Dynasty to rise and remain in power again. But when assassins try to kill them both and Yao is betrayed by his men on the inside, they both realize that there is a bigger foe at work: General Hsiung, the personal bodyguard of Wang Ying's father, Lord Lu.
Stunned by this betrayal, Wan Ying wants revenge but she knows that her Snake Fist style alone won't be enough to bring Hsiung down. So she and Yao come to the conclusion that their own survival will work better if they combine strengths to defeat the General, who is the master of the Golden Bell technique, a sacred principle of defense that makes the practitioner invulnuerable to pain or injury. But Yao and Wan Ying both have a secret plan of attack:
it would appear that the Golden Bell technique is not impervious to 'pressure points' and being an expert in this art, Yao teaches it to Wan Ying so that they can prepare for their battle against the General together.
*Doris Lung is one gorgeous woman in this movie and she and Carter Wong made a good couple in this film.

There's a moon rising over the streets of New York...and when it turns red, someone's going to die on that particular night. Eddie Cunningham is a light heavyweight champ who loves the thrill of boxing and it gives him a charge like never before. But on this particular night, he's going to meet a combatant like he's never seen before in the form of Chad Atkins.
Chad is a disturbed kung fu stylist who's part man, part metal and pure evil. Armed with steel fingers, steel-toed boots and ruthless kicking skills, Chad believes that the true champion is the one who can extinguish the life of their opponent in personal combat. What starts out as a mere sparring match turns vicious and it isn't before long that one of these combatants finds themself meeting their maker.
*Another great work from choreographer Tony Leung Siu Hung.
